Newark – a New Growth Point Newark is an historic town with an exciting future. Its excellent transport links and attractive town centre make it a highly desirable place to live and work. However, there is a national shortage of housing, including affordable homes and the Government's objective is to ensure that sufficient housing is delivered alongside associated employment opportunities in sustainable locations. The Government has identified Newark as a New Growth Point. This is a major opportunity to deliver the new homes and jobs that Newark needs. |
