As part of planning application proposals, 50 hectares (123 acres) of land is purposed for a range of employment opportunities.This could mean approximately 2,500 new jobs for Newark. The aim is to attract new and relocating business to Newark and provide more job opportunities for Newark residents in an accessible location. The presence of the East Coast Main Line and A1/A46 provide Newark with excellent transport links, to be further enhanced by the imminent opening of the dualled A46 between Newark and Widmerpool. |
