As part of Newark Future’s proposals, up to 70 hectares (172 acres) of land will be set aside for a range of employment opportunities.This could mean 4,000 new jobs for Newark. The aim is to attract new and relocating business to Newark and provide more job opportunities for Newark residents in an accessible location.

Newark has excellent transport links including the East Coast Main Line and the A1/A46 road links. Its position in the centre of England makes it easily accessible from most parts of the country. Newark Future will help make the most of these advantages to bring high-quality new jobs to Newark.
