A full planning application for a new roundabout at the western end of the southern link road with the dualled A46 at Farndon has been submitted to Newark and Sherwood District Council.  The planning application has been made to integrate with the programme of works for the dualling of the A46, which is currently being constructed.  This will provide a connection from the dualled A46 to the proposed southern link road.Newark and Sherwood District Council Planning Committee approved planning permission for the new roundabout on the 15th March 2011.
