Newark Future will include a range of local community facilities and services strategically located within the development to be within easy walking distance of all new homes, helping deliver a cohesive and sustainable community. The proposals will include two primary schools, multi-purpose community buildings, local shops, a children’s nursery and extensive areas of open space providing a community park, children’s play areas and playing fields.

Financial contributions will also be made to increase capacity within the town’s Secondary Schools and a percentage of homes will be available for rent or part-ownership through a Housing Association to help those who have difficulty getting a foot on the property ladder.
